I used to buy cheap shoes. Got sick of them wearing out. Plus, you spend a lot of time in shoes. Don't go cheap on shoes, mattresses, and tires.

Though I still don't think I buy expensive shoes.....DSW is my shoe place. Workout shoes, yes, I dropped more on them than my boots.

hey here's a question for the shoe people. Can you get a heel on a cheapish boot redone? My left foot is apparently odd and very unevenly wears down heels. It's like a stacked heel boot and I can't wear them anymore because it literally makes me tilt. I want to fix them but not sure if the material is too cheap to do so. Also would like to know why my foot does this. Where is no2cyclones? DH watched me walk in a pair of slings a few weeks ago and he said my left heel is literally 3/4 of the way off the shoe to the right when I walk.

Married. Doesn't matter! :spinny:

Haha amen to that. We both wear dry-fit, or t-shirts pretty much anytime we are not at work or church. Quite frankly I don't really give a damn what someone thinks of me.

It is just different backgrounds/preferences. I know people that think I am dressed up if I wear khaki shorts.

Khaki shorts??? Whoaaaa there! Are you a Rockefeller or something??? That's high class gear.

Question is do you wear the shorts above or below the knee?

Haha yeah, I usually make some smart *** comment and walk away.
