I bought a new scooter a few weeks back and now it seems like it's so damn windy every day.

Has it always been as windy as this past week in September and I've never noticed it or is this windier than normal?

Once your kiddo is old enough to go to school or daycare, pretty much plan on someone constantly being sick in your household for the first 3 months. It's ridiculous. Worst part about it for us is that we went thru it when the oldest went to daycare when he was an infant and we were both working full time, then they weren't in daycare when my wife started working only part time, so now we're going thru it again now that the oldest is in pre-K.

Oh, and the children's museum? Eff that place (although I'm talking about the Iowa City one, we've been to Madison). You can pretty much plan on someone being flat on their back for a few days after a trip to that germ hole....unless you go right away in the morning before everything is covered in kiddo germs.

I plan to just serve them a healthy dose of dirt and make them play in the backyard. Their daycare will be expense enough. Ain't hauling them to no kiddie museum.

I'm on baby watch for my new nephew. I'm wondering if perhaps they have an induction scheduled, and just are keeping mum about it.

I have amazing immunities and never get sick. My mom credits it to the fact that as a baby, she would sit me down in the garden and just let me eat dirt while she gardened. I kind of believe it.
 
I went to a concert in the DSM last night, got home at 1:30 am, asleep at 2, up at 6. Here is to John T. Folgers and his wonderful invention, the percolated coffee bean.

I have a friend who posts tons of pictures on facebook of her huge fake boobs and then routinly posts comments about how men are just pigs that only want sex. Part of me wants to post some pics on here to show you what I mean. I find it extremely annoying. I'm not saying her "style" is an invitation to do anything but she knows she dresses that way for that exact attention. It's like dying your hair pink and getting mad when people comment on the pink hair.

Should I post pics or is that not okay?

I say you test the waters. If mods don't like them, they can delete it.
