hey remember that story about the football kid who jumped out a window to save his drowning nephew? I know we had a thread here about it but I can't find it.

I just wanted to post that he actually jumped out the window cause he was robbing the place and the police had arrived.

Are you stalking my Facebook? Because I just posted the link to that like, an hour ago. The one I read said there was a crime and someone involved had the same first name and was in the exact same area, but the cops hadn't released a full name or said he was actually a suspect yet.

Didn't want to get shot, apparently.

About what?

About this:

Been thinking about selling my cookies/pies/other stuff.

How much would you pay for a cookie?

How much would you pay for a pie? (Double crusted apple for example)

Also imagine that these are fantastic. I've never had a person say anything but amazing things about my baked goods.

So I got no real answers :swoon:

Sorry...I don't really have an answer for you. I do all my own baking, or PapaLew does it...

If I'm purchasing homebaked goods, it's usually for a bake sale in support of some cause, so you can expect an inflated cost. One of my pies auctioned off for $50 once...two bachelors fighting over a fresh peach pie. They ended up splitting the final price and sharing it...win win.

I really don't know what the going rate would be. Bear in mind if you're going to make a real business out of it there's licensing & marketing & health inspections, etc, so your costs go up exponentially, necessitating higher selling prices to break even/make a profit. If you're selling them to friends & acquaintances on a cash basis, I guess you would have to figure out what they're willing to pay.
