The Dominic's/Dom's I've known in my life were...not the greatest people. Slackers or full of themselves, etc. I'd stay away from it.

I don't know any IRL, which is part of the appeal. He likes Emma for a girl, and though I think it's nice, it's overused and was my first college roommate's name. Nothing wrong with her, I'm just over that name. Plus my brother used it on one of his heifers.

It's my second to last granddaughter's name...

anatomy picture of the night. It's like a puzzle. Keep collecting the pictures and you get a whole body! Bonus of DH in background, again in his native habitat.

I once had a geographical cow family. Betsy was the mom to Dakota, Montana, Arizona, and Colorado. Dakota had Medina and Medora (towns in the Dakotas), Montana had Helena, Zony had a son Tucson and a heifer Caliente, and Colly had Aspen.

Aspen was the last calf born before I left for college. I felt pretty sad about that.

I know you all wanted to know that.

I mean, Emma was a very nice cow.

I don't think I can have a daughter who didn't have a cow named the same. They better just be ok with it.

One of the two kittens we adopted a couple of months ago has the same name as a granddaughter. The kitten was about 9 mos old, so we really didn't want to change it on her...so we asked our granddaughter and her parents if it would be okay if the kitten had the same name, and they all said it was fine. What we DIDN'T anticipate was the fact that she would immediately assume the kitten was HERS when she visited...and she wouldn't allow her sisters or cousins to pet the kitten. We had some 'splaining to do!

My aunt named her first child after the cat she left declawed and scared ******** on the farm. My dad said it starved to death hiding in the garage because it wouldn't leave the rafters.

Happy story, I know.
