Guy runs from the cops and gets 5 bullets launched his way? I didn't think they were supposed to open fire unless lives were in danger or unless the suspect was a visible threat to their safety. Jaywalkers beware.

And seriously, where is someone going to drive to to escape?

What's worse is that Kuhio Avenue is one of the busiest streets in Waikiki and arguably one of the busiest non-highways in Hawaii. There's people walking everywhere at all hours due to the heavy tourism around Waikiki. I'm actually shocked that someone else wasn't hit. You don't open fire there and take the chance of him hitting a car, biker or pedestrian. You call in for help, report the car and proceed, but with caution around you. Apparently it's not uncommon around here. I guess Honolulu police are notorious for being undertrained and underprepared for most situations. What they lack in ability they make up for in aggressiveness though.

I would argue that all toddlers are clumsy.

I don't disagree. My brothers' room had some kind of linoleum/tile and my sister and my rooms were carpet. You could definitely hear sound better coming from theirs. Messes would be easier to clean on wood, but I think the softness + cost will win out.

Have you seen your ripped biceps?

Maybe instead of carpeting the house, you should just sound proof the bedroom/sex den? Easier on the kids that way.

more awkward!

the main living areas would be wood or tile. Just the bedrooms would have carpet.

I think I can count on three fingers the number of times I've seen him cry.

and no, don't you dare make a joke about only 3 yes's in the spreadsheet.

But what about how many times he's tucked himself into the fetal position in the corner of the room, rocking himself back and forth just repeating "no, no, no, no, no, no, no......"?
