I'm watching Milo try to play with his mousy toys while wearing the cone of shame. Let's just say it's not going particularly well... 
You really didn't have to sound that desperate to get out of this arrangement. I have feelings, ya know.

Sorry to say that I did end up running. Perfect weather. Couldn't pass it up. Had two street lights go out as I ran underneath them, which was a little odd. It was like a motion detector for murderers.
When my dog got neutered, he had to wear a cone. He's a corgi, so he has short little legs, but he's stocky so he needed a bigger cone to fit around his neck. It dragged on the ground and every time he hit a crack on the sidewalk he'd get caught. I couldn't stand to have him in it for more than 20 minutes, he was so depressed.
Holy moly! Strap some artillery on that thing and call it a fighter jet..... It sure handles like one!
Nicely done, BTW. If "professional wingman" isn't on your business card, you need to add it.

I can say with authority that it's true that cat's sense of spatial awareness is definitely based on its whiskers. The cone isn't any wider than their whiskers, but both of them are running into everything.
American Foxhound. Looks like a beagle, but the size of a dalmatian. 70-ish lbs.
Yeah, head wasn't quite right...but the color & markings were.
Speaking of which...you runners...you want motivation to exercise every day...get an American Foxhound puppy. He's slowing down now that he's older, but until about 3 or 4, if he didn't get a walk in every day, there would be consequences. Taking a walk in the dead of winter at 0F and an inch of frozen packed snow was better than a stir crazy foxhound....and I wouldn't trade him for nuttin.

If you want a main landing gear truck beam that holds the 6 main wheels, I can sell one to you at $285,000. Any interest? It would make a nice souvenir.
This chick at the gym keeps eye ******* me. It's getting to be distracting. Now I've got to like, flex EXTRA hard to try to show off.
Lucky for me I was using the calf raise machine, because obviously my calves are one of the handful of good physical traits I have. She totally was getting hot and bothered. That, or her time on the elliptical was. Either way.
