Holy crap...that last caller on Sound-off was even more drunk than usual...

"yup...them Hawkeyes are going in the right direction...and now we got that boy from Dubuque...that seven-footer..."

okayyyyyyy...

If cartoon violence existed in real life (meaning violent acts that are recovered from moments later), how often would you and your wife have bludgeoned each other with a giant mallet?

I confess that I have considered the therapeutic benefits of cartoon violence in every day life probably a little too often. But really, when some idiot on their cell phone veers into your lane, don't you wish you could push a button on your dash and have a giant hand swat them off the road?

Ever feel like you're a thread killer? You post in a loooong thread and your post is the last post in the thread and it stays that way? There is at least one recent thread on the off-topic page in which my post is the last post in the thread. And I bet if I looked long enough, I'd find several others where I posted last. Watch this post be the last post in this thread. lol

I seem to kill threads a lot. Usually if the thread gets resurrected the new post doesn't pertain to what I said.

Despite being removed from college a number of years, my worst nightmares still involve missing a test or forgetting what building my final is being held in.

That nightmare where on the day of the final you realize you've completely forgotten about and not attended a class all semester. *shudder*

Why are there traffic light sensors cut in the roads in front of the line you're supposed to stop behind, and right in the middle of crosswalks?

I have often wondered this and it drives me nuts when people stop in the crosswalk.

Somewhat related to this. Did you ever post something - then a page or two later someone else posts the same thing like they thought of it first?

(no, there's nothing like bipolarcy's post earlier - it just made me think of mine.)

My gf asked me last night if I rather have a bj or ice cream cake and I had to think about it.

Anyone that has to think about this must live a billion miles from Dairy Queen.

And if you have to think about it, please feel free to PM your girlfriend's number to me.

damn single guys....:skeptical:

When I see a quality post on this board, the first thing I do is look at the poster's likes given to received ratio. If you've received 200 likes but given 6... I'm probably not liking your comment, not matter how good/hilarious it is. I like to call it the "like discrimination affect".

I know, I know, it's junior high af but it's what I do.

I'm betting you didn't "like" WDSM's post.

I usually dream that I realize I forgot about a class for weeks. Or I'm in class and suddenly notice I'm naked from the waist down.
