Just noticed they started the new season so did a quick power watch of the episodes.
Still bitter that they killed Lily at end of Season 2 ("The bastards, they killed Lily!").

So many people on the show like Durrant, the Swede, and the Governor and his staff need to die horrible deaths

I'M ON EPISODE 7 OF SEASON ONE OVER HERE!

you should be happy that I poopily spoiled that particular thing earlier today sort of accidentally. But warning, give me a few weeks before you drop bombs like that!

I like Elam killing the lily-white *** of bad Irish guy

I binged on season one, but honestly didn't even know they had the second season.

Still no job offers yet, but at least the job interviews are picking up. I've said it before, I'll say it again, the sooner I get a job, the sooner I can buy season tickets.

I would love to buy nicer clothes but a) I Iive in Ottumwa and b) It's hard enough to find clothes that fit my frame properly. I could catalog order, but I really don't want to deal with shipping fees, and then shipping back when it doesn't fit.

Just bought my first suit... That took a nice shot to my bank account

Barney Stinson and I both agree you won't regret it.

I know most can't or won't get a tailored suit, but even if you get something from Men's Wearhouse where they still alter it for you, it's a hundred times better than buying off the rack.

Please tell me you didn't buy off the rack....

So, you're telling me that I shouldn't have bought a suit at Kohl's?

:jimlad: just in case.

The biggest problem I have is that it seems that more and more, clothes are made for the disgusting fatarses we have running around. I have a few suits, and I always fight getting it to fit my shoulders and arms without being able to hide a volkswagen inside the torso area. They're all made for the yawning guts of the sadly modern american male.

I agree. And I'm a broad guy. I might not be hugely overweight, but I've got very broad shoulders and even I'm swimming in some suits that are supposed to be "my size" that aren't tailored or sized.

I don't want to seem like a suit snob though. If someone buys off the rack, that's their prerogative. But unless they either are very lucky to happen to have the right body type or are ok looking like a kid in his dad's suit/dad in his kid's suit, they should at least look into the slight additional cost to get it fitted right. You can even usually take in stuff you bought off the rack to get fitted.

Oh, and just because someone thinks "this looks fine" with their first suit, doesn't actually mean it looks fine.

I was going to post the link, but was afraid of being chastised, but ALL guys should look up "Girl films the best part of her workouts" on The Chive. You won't regret it. NSFW......if you consider three minutes of cleavage NSFW. Women....maybe stay away.
