I'm just happy when I can "sleep in" till 7 am.

See, here's the thing...
When your kids are grown and out of the house, you get used to this luxury called "sleeping in on Saturdays". Then they come to visit and bring all their minions, and that crap just flies out the window...

But grandbaby hugs are the bestest!!!!

I've never been one for sleeping in. My wife, on the other hand, believes she's at her best when she gets no fewer than ten hours of sleep (not a typo). So someday when our kids are grown up and out I'm going to have to pick up some hobbies to fill in that four or so hours of free time I'll have on weekend mornings.

Hubby goes out to his shop. :)

That's the same thing with me, and it doesn't help that I arrive at work around 5:40 am. My body is just used to being up that early and combine that with back pain and sleeping in past 8 am is almost impossible.

Same with me. I am a 5-6 hour a night guy. Wife is 8-9 minimum.

I prefer fer it, it gives me some time to do whatever I need/want.

Wore the Kagavi retro ISU basketball shirt last year on my birthday and they had the season they had. Let's see if it works again.

We have a three year old who somehow inherited my tendency to wake up early and my wife's tendency to be grumpy in the morning. So my free time is at a minimum for now, but someday I'll get it back.

My sister got married last weekend and my wife of two (2) years was in the wedding party. They had her name listed on the programs and the wedding party introduction as her maiden name.

Just saw a commercial asking for donations to help cure animal cancer. How about we find a cure for human cancer before we try curing animal cancer.

I think some of the guys hang out at Caseys (small town) or HyVee (big town). Optionally there's the small town cafe if your town is set up with one. Bull Shippers we called 'em.

I got sunburned yesterday. Dumb. I think that's the most time I've spent outside since October.
