Aww, jeez...I said no Janky feet! Tell him to fix up that toenail and stop wearing the same sandals all the time.

haha, the other foot was worse! That's why he wanted another pic! And the tan line is there even in the winter. It's permanent at this point.

Man feet are gross.

Ranch, but now with a finished basement. Assuming the kiddos question comes in here...all our bedrooms are on main floor, 2 spare BR's and kiddo play area in the basement.

Yes, I know it can vary kid to kid, but one thing I'll say is that if you don't go crazy making it quiet when they're sleeping, they don't get used to it. My cousin's first kid, they went so nuts making it pitch black and silent when the kid was sleeping that when he went to grandma's house, the only way the kid would sleep would be to put him in a (large) closet in his car seat.

*edit: Example...in the spring we were moving stuff in and out for the basement finish, so we spent a long time with the door wide open and a mouse got in. About 9 o'clock, both boys in their beds with bedroom doors open, my wife sees the mouse scurry across the floor, shrieks. In getting it, I flipped the couch onto it's back and swatted it on the wood floor with a broom and cleaned up, both kids slept right thru it.

yeah, I've read you're supposed to clean and stuff while they sleep so they get used to the noise.
