I wish some of you filthy animals were going Orlando. Still haven't found anyone I know who will be down there. Suppose I could open a tab at the Hyatt and make "friends" but I've been watching the Witcher and anything in a bar or eatery seems to end up in swordplay and lots of dead peeps. And the way half the CF folks talk in the MBB forums I am just assuming any Cyclone gathering will end in a fight.

Back at the hotel
Lord we got a CF mess
It seems that one of the crew
Had a go with one of the guests, oh yes
Well, the police said we can't drink in the bar, what a shame

Merry Christmas to all!

Quote of the holidays, from Sunday.

8yo nephew received this little "robot" on wheels that can perform tricks just by hand movements. (Small enough to move around on a table) As nephew and one of his brothers look at instructions, 7yo niece (their cousin) says non-chalantly as she walks past "That thing will watch you while you sleep," and continues on into the guest bedroom.

Wherever I go, there I am.

What do you think of The Witcher? I haven't watched it yet, but was considering it.

Is the niece related to you by consanguinity? It would appear the blood of Rohan also flows through her veins!

What do you think of The Witcher? I haven't watched it yet, but was considering it.

Little confusing at first since I didn't initially get that it was several different timelines going and not three character arcs in the same time period. I'll watch pretty much any sci-fi or fantasy stuff that isn't terrible. I am at episode 5 and stuff is starting to make more sense. Liking it better each episode, maybe because the timelines are getting closer to merging and bringing a little "order" to it all. I knew nothng of the games, hadn't even heard of them since I am sort of a pre-gamer era guy.

Wish all of these streamed shows were not such short seasons. Kind of a rip off. The Expanse was 13 episodes on SyFy but only 8 for season 4 on Amazon. Witcher is only 8. Hoarding the last few episodes a little since there is so little good stuff on TV. Being a night owl I can easily fall into binging a season in two nights.

Not exactly sure.
Never seen it’s a wonderful life and have it on to see how far I can get. Son said he would rather watch a blank tv than that stuff. It is pretty dry.
