I have several movies I hope to never see before I die..I work vigorously at not watching them......Hancock is one. The new "Cats" production is another.

I held out for several years before giving in and watching Titanic. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. Could have used more gratuitous nudity. ;)

Channel flipped into Battleship tonight and couldn't resist watching this bad movie again because blowing up alien sea ships is just fun stuff. And the little boy in me digs Iowa class battleships. Sort of the opposite and far end of the movie spectrum from Rear Window last night.

I refused to watch Titanic for several years as well, then someone told me Leo died so I figured it was okay to watch. Lousy dialogue but everything else was pretty top notch once they hit the iceberg.

Not exactly sure.

Wife made me take her to the titanic movie when we were either engaged or just married. It was ok, but long. I basically avoid movies with intermissions also.

Back from an extended vacation in the wilds of Madeline Island on Lake Superior. (Annual traditional hunting trip.) Survived, and got thoroughly re-charged, especially being away from media and most people. (It's actually pretty cool.)

I find my fellow RTTers in fine fettle, and am jealous of KC's trip to paradise. Boxster, I loved what you did on the back porch. BC, I can hire you and actually pay you if you're in dire straits. JC, you never told me your wife was a swinger. (Although I did wonder about those key parties.) Birdy, we all need baked goods, since you're apparently not eating them anymore. GR8, good luck on your proposed diet. Everyone else, I missed your wit and wisdom and am glad to be back! :D

No, I want less work. I get volunteered for enough stuff. I have to wander into the part time boss’s office today and work there. Motivation stinks. I do need to find a person to finish siding my moms house. Hard to sell or rent it with 2/3rds a job done.

Off the grid
The trouble is that it takes over two hours to hit the iceberg.

Is it possible to be a swinger that doesn't swing?

Watching the city council meeting because why not. Large public comment section due to a proposed new rail yard for Cargill on what is apparently a natural pollinator site between a low income neighborhood and a city park and fishery. My favorite thus far is the guy sitting right behind the lectern reading a book.

Rom pot is for sure going to get railroaded by Cargill.

Yeah. It was evident that Cargill had asked employees on contractors to speak in support of it. A lot of complaints though and some good suggestions. Had to go to a meeting so just catching up to see what else was said.

So, for early turn-ins of the project, a quick little questionnaire:
1. Does this say everything you want it to say?
2. This is as prepared as you want it to be?
3. Per the e-mail sent to the class, there is nothing that a hawkish reader like me could presume to be plagiarized? No introductory material from anywhere like wiki, history.com, shmoop.com, or any of the sites I've seen people use before?

Of course, the answers are "no," and what happens from there just happens.

The gf has been looking at small breed dogs. This is exactly how the process to get Emma started. Lord, give me strength.

MrsWx has been pushing to get a golden doodle. I am at a hard no until we are in our next house in 2ish years.
