Boxster hope you found a movie you liked the FB game went out with a whimper.

I turned it back on for a while and we tied it 17-17. Than turned it off again as KSU was just shredding us rushing the ball and our response was dropped passes and running plays for losses. Disappointing season for me. Odd in that in past years it was our lack of competitive talent that killed us, this year it's been bad execution time and time again in the games we lost. I just found it hard to watch starting with UNI. Maybe after 50 years I have reached a burnout point. I only even went to one gamewatch and I used to host most of the them.

Not exactly sure.

Things cycle. As they say, separation makes the the heart grow fonder. Son said that even the students get fickle after a loss.

Went to Riverside Casino for a friends birthday tonight. Was on 380 south and there was a ton of traffic coming north. First thought men's basketball? naw not that many people go to their games. Turns out it was wrestling...makes much more sense.

I absolutely hate the term “fair share”. Had a couple lazy uncles who would do nothing and then complain by saying that phrase. One of them my dad would make me help him all the time, when my dad mentioned that a couple bucks to help pay for the gas (20 miles round trip) on an occasional basis would be nice, he complained and paid nothing and told people I was greedy. At least I never had to go back there. A year of feeding his cattle that were wild as hell stunk. Got to work for someone who would at least feed me.

Celebrated my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, had Thanksmas during the day then went to mass and they had a little get together afterwards.

Introduced the dogs to the nephew. Emma seemed to not care much after a day or so, Sadie didnt know what to think about him. Growled at my sister all weekend too. Never was aggressive though.

Overall, good weekend, now back to work I guess.

15 working days...lets do this!

Wish I was down to that. Boss is a jackwagon.

Was thinking with the passing of mom and the extra time with only one kid in HS that maybe I would give up the part time job and just dig deeper into the full time job. Wife basically told me no to that idea. Have to make it through this next year and see what happens and then maybe things will ease up.

I know a few are over in the “I’m Fat” thread. Have to brag on hubby a bit, he made some eating changes after a Dr’s appointment 6months ago and lost around 55lbs. I make the food, so I also lost about 20lbs. While he was losing the bulk of his weight, he did not work out any. Now we bought a studio-type bike with streaming workouts (not a Peloton) and he does that. I walked all summer and did kettlebell workouts, now on the bike and free weights. Going into 2020 75lbs lighter as a couple. This Thanksgiving vs. last Thanksgiving. I think we both did fairly well over the holiday, now we need to make it through Christmas. And Christmas baking. ;)

I told the wife last night that I should skip lunches this to make up for the last few days. I feel like I'm really putting on the holiday weight already.

I had irregular eating patterns this fall, and as soon as that happens, my metabolism quits in revenge.
As for me, I wouldn't skip the meals. That's where so much of the damage can happen.
