Not exactly sure.
We thought about checking that out. Anything cool going on?

Take the girlfriend and dog ( the pit bull crew has typically been to the NW of the train car) and throw a tent up. Free food at a couple restaurants and cheap beer and vodka. Only have to agree to not shower and rub some dirt and dog crap on you to fit in.

Man, you haven't lived until you pull a hair from your gf out of your dogs butt with a turd dangling from the end.
Had to stop putting icicles on the Christmas tree because one of my cats used to eat them. Made the litter box shiny...but when only part of it came out the other cats would chase him around the house. So I'd have to catch him and slowly pull it out while trying to keep all the skin on my arms intact. Gaaack!

I first did that years ago and continue to do so on occasion. I wish I knew that was the pinnacle of life experiences, so I could've thrown my bucket list away after that. Not sure whether to be upset since I lost all ambition or glad that I don't have to try anymore.

So @BoxsterCy

Edit...

Or the Yankee version of the announcement

What a cool idea.

Edit: After looking at the map this is going to take quite an effort. They'll have to install bleachers and some sort of home run fence but they'll want to keep the aesthetic of the corn field. August 13th is a Thursday so I assume it will be played in prime time meaning they'll need lights. There's no where to park so they will need to shuttle in fans from town. Probably going to be a pretty pricey ticket due to limited seating.

Going to disagree some in that this may "seem" like a fun idea but should be an exhibition and not a real game. I thought this had to be some sort of Onion like joke when I saw it. Getting the field set up, even temporarily, as something fit for MLB is going to be a challenge. Temporary walls and all might be easier than getting the infield and outfield into shape.

The games in London, while fun and all in concept, where a joke. Glad that those games are unlikely to effect the race at this point but no one knew that when they were scheduled.
