When do the northern lights appear? I usually see them at the end of harvest which is around this time. That would give you something to watch, if they are visible there.

Although things get shipped by the postal service, it's pretty nice that I can order something from Amazon on Sunday and have it Monday.
Does cooler want to go? Kansas City is a long ways.
I don't think I've been to a high school athletic event since I was in high school.
I've been to a few. I don't get super into it, but they can be kind of fun to watch

Gone to a few Minnesota state basketball tournament games here to see a couple of ISU recruits play (Jake Sullivan) but other then that the last HS game from my hometown was in 1969.
Stupid old man tricks. New car wiper blades don't flip up unless the hood is open. Had ton-o-ginko leaves on the car cause outside during garage painting. Had hood open to lift blades and clean leaves. Put passenger side blade down and forgot drivers side and shut hood and totally pretzel ****** the drivers side blade arm. 
And driving to Iowa at 0800 tomorrow. Hoping it doesn't rain cause even with it wrenched back into place I worry it will scratch the windshield. I hate it when I have to be pissed at myself.

I have been to a few both up here and back in KS. Mostly just because I enjoy the sports so why not.
Do they have that Juan Harris that used to be at Fayette valley and has committed and decommitted to Iowa four times?
My first school is now apartments. My oldest got to play a basketball game there before it closed and my youngest liked to find me in the pictures and laugh at me. My last HS is in my kids' conference so I'm there fairly often.
As long as you're not pulling a Matthew McConaughey in D and C and hanging out there for the HS girls. It is some cheaper entertainment. At least in Iowa, I know Minny is more expensive.
Well nice start to the MBB &WBB seasons, nice to be back in Hilton again. Took advantage of time between games to go to Red Lobster for all the shrimp you can eat. Another nice fall day.

Oh, man, do I feel old and slow. Niece with the 3-month old baby ran a 1:38 half marathon this weekend. 
There is a bar in Omaha that has this pool table. I've never seen anything like it. I guess they just play it like you would a normal table. It must be kind of hard to get the eight ball if it's a dog leg left.
