Well, there is that pesky restraining order to consider. Probably a wise choice on your part.

You get drunk and forget to put your pants on before walking around the neighborhood just ONE time and you're suddenly labeled a menace to society and not allowed within 500 feet of a school for the rest of your life.

There is a bar in Omaha that has this pool table. I've never seen anything like it. I guess they just play it like you would a normal table. It must be kind of hard to get the eight ball if it's a dog leg left.

Now I want to go to Omaha to just play a game of pool on that table!

how is your Monday going? I spent my Sunday painting the dining room what in the sample can was a lovely gray and now have a green dining room. At least I left some of the ceiling tape up and now have about 3/4 of the room taped again. Now to see if the place I got it will either refund me the not cheap paint or actually match their sample can.

And someone I emailed probably a dozen times last week, several times only signing my first name sent me an email this morning address using my last name as my first. So they apparently think I'm a man. Oh and the coffee machine gave me hot chocolate and no coffee again this morning. I do not approve.

But it was sunny when I got up so that was nice.

My first school is now apartments. My oldest got to play a basketball game there before it closed and my youngest liked to find me in the pictures and laugh at me. My last HS is in my kids' conference so I'm there fairly often.

As long as you're not pulling a Matthew McConaughey in D and C and hanging out there for the HS girls. It is some cheaper entertainment. At least in Iowa, I know Minny is more expensive.
Still pretty cheap up here. Six to eight dollars for adults and about four for kids. There is generally some reason that at least one of my kids gets in free.

We've been pretty lucky around here lately. Two years ago, the basketball team started five players that will eventually end up playing for D-1 teams. The volleyball team has one of the best players in the country and has had 3-4 D-1 players on it for the last couple of years, too. This makes for some pretty good and cheap entertainment.

Solid proof that there is not enough caffeine in hot chocolate, right here. :D

I am so tired of being forwarded email chains at work with just +gr8

If you want me to do something can't you put some short synopsis of the situation and what you would like me to do instead of making me read through a whole chain of questions and trying to figure out what was going on for the last 2 days?

that **** pisses me off when I get requests to do stuff from other countries. And buried in a chain of a emails in a language I do not speak are 4-5 things to request. It's like a game of Where's Waldo as I scroll through. I used to be super nice/pushover and do my best to figure it out, now I hit reply and am like I cannot complete unless the request is in this format pasted below.

so what of my weekend list did I accomplish?

So far, hoping to:

* purchase taller ladder and somehow get it home - done!
* purchase dirt to fill in around downspout that washed earlier in the spring - purchased and home but Dh will do on Friday
* tape off dining room and most of living room - taped off dining room....twice now grrrr
* get paint/another canvas - got paint, skipped canvas, one was fine for dining room
* paint taped rooms - room, just one room. That needs to be repainted. Grrrrr.
* weed one more time - nope
* figure out where and what bulbs to plant - purchased and planted!
* car shopping - nope
* make Chinese steak - yes! leftovers for daaaaayyys
* make cinnamon rolls - nope, maybe next weekend

that's actually not too bad minus the whole getting nowhere paint wise.

We had to rake again. Several different methods of getting them from the backyard to the curb and we are going to fall back on the good ol rake them onto a blanket method. The leaf blower/sucker my parents got me for Christmas last year is nearly worthless. Not strong enough to blow if there is a pile or if the grass is too long. Partially our fault but a lot of sticks were getting jammed in the mulcher when sucking and one finally jammed in there. The blades on the mulcher have also been ground down already.
