Forgot my headphones at home and now I realized I am out of gum. #FirstWorldProbs
And for the first time EVER, I used pillsbury roll-up pie crusts on my pies. Just didn't have the energy to do them myself. Oooooohhhhhhh, the guilt!
Not to put too fine a point on it, but there IS no comparison. In order for them to be functional, the dough has to be compressed & overworked. Leaves you with a tough crust and zero flakiness. They were an acceptable substitute but will not happen again unless I'm on my death bed.Nothing wrong with that, they work great. I use them some IQF cherries, tapioca, splenda, and people think I can make homemade cherry pie. HaHaha.

Carver post, Pants already back - this thread is trending up.I made 14 pies with our two Thanksgiving events, five of which had top crusts. No way in hell I was making all those crusts. I just unroll them and plop them in the pie dish though, don't work them much at all.

Dh getting sick as well. going to be a fun few days.
So got an invite to a work dinner that I don't have an overwhelming desire to attend. I don't expect to take off work for this cold, but is it a solid enough reason to not do dinner? I wouldn't want to eat with a sickie.
Sorry.
The page you’re looking for has left Patagonia.com and joined a heavy metal band. We apologize for the inconvenience, and the noise.
