Hey, Dana guys, old Dana used to have The Stite Open over VEISHEA at Veenker golf course. Played with mega hangovers. First prize was a 12-pack of Stite.

Goodness! The seniority you have to most occupying this world longer.

so both Dh and I need socks. I had gotten some Hanes ankle socks last spring for wearing around the house. About half the pairs have about worn through the bottom of my heel already. Not cool. DH had gotten some goldtoe type dress ish work socks last winter that he says the heels are wearing out on. So, looking for socks that will you know, last longer. I might get some asics ones for around the house since my workout ones seem to hold up well. But I still need crew/knee type ones for wearing to work in winter. My toes get cold in the paper thin ones I've been wearing.

I've read good things about smartwool/darntough types but they are a good bit pricier. Though if they will last and be comfy, that's better than buying new socks every six months. I could try ordering a few kinds for DH, he's pretty picky but I don't want to get him Goldtoe again because's he had the same problem twice. He clearly needs something that's more heavy duty.

Maybe don't stomps your heel down after every step like an angry horse and it might help?

I love goldtoe. Never had any problems with them, personally. I also own a lot of off brand too, though, because I like a **** ton of color in my socks.

Looks like a recycled oil can.

My wife wears her heals out, I don't, and she comes down heavy on her foot. Mine might be from all the boots I've worn over the years. Changes your step a little I think.

this is what I don't get. I would expect the front to wear out faster. When I was obsessed with getting my 10k steps a day, I would fast walk around the house and I found that if you just like, do that on the balls of your feet, steps counted faster. So I totally expected the toes to wear out faster. Nope.

So I just went on their website, and while it's working now, I didn't realize they were 4-5. Ouch that isn't good

Yeah after checking ticket prices I refreshed it to see it again and it was fixed. Should have taken a screenshot.

That made we wish I hadn't recycled my beer can collection since I was sure it included an 8 oz can I could use for scale. Looked in garage and found I didn't toss ALL of them, saved a few. So here you go, with some scale for reference. :)

I'm not sure whether like this or not, because I remember the first one I had and wasn't all that impressed, but then I learned the more you drink the better they taste ( or at least you don't care how they taste). Now I just like beer.
My first beer was a PBR. I was working our church carnival and they had a tub full of beer for the workers so I decided to just take one and drink it. I guess it kind of ironic that my first beer was while I was underage and was part of a church function.

My manager and I just did a phone interview with a candidate out in the UK. His resume was 9 pages long. I am way out of touch with resumes in the 21st century. Is this common? Does anyone actually read one that long?

That is excessive IMO. I have never heard of anything over two pages.

Costco has "smart wool" socks and they're by far my favorite. First pair of wool socks I've found that actually wicks away sweat but also keeps your toes nice and cozy.

I've always been told a resume should be no longer than 1 page.
