Just doing my job. Husband wanted to take some pics for work with his phone...realized he needed to remove his Iowa State phone case.
Yep! Just had the realization "Cubs at 1:20p, then Vikings tonight." Good sports watching day.
One of the big things I noticed comparing ISU media day to Iowa media day...at ISU, the only "media" I saw wearing Iowa State apparel were employees of the University. (John Walters, Eric Heft, the young lady that I believe was running the ISU Twitter acct during CPR's press conference) At Iowa's, I counted 5-6 media members wearing Iowa gear. Yes, your radio station might be an affiliate...but you just...don't do that.
Its more a reference to the Vikings. The Cubs are starting to become fun to watch.
I'm in the market to upgrade my 42". You mind sharing if you got a deal? I got a $3,000 bonus burning a hole in my pocket.
Forgot to mention...
We went out to dinner after media day yesterday. (How do you want to spend your anniversary? Let's go to our hated rivals' media day!) While we're waiting to be seated, husband turns his head and sees a tall kid with Iowa gear on. He nudges me..."Hey, it's Jarrod Uthoff." As we left after eating, we noticed they sat his group at a booth. Jarrod had to sit with his feet/legs kicked out in a weird position. Not sure if a table would have worked better, but it couldn't have been worse.
