brag alert. My brothers and BILs all had good speeches at theirs. I used visual aids and did a little Karnak-esque style of speech. It was one of my better moments. My wife insists my comedy peaked that day and has been on a drastic decline since then.
After my bride had clearly fallen in love with the mic and had been talking for quite a while a few times she handed it to me to say my piece. I simply said that I had learned in this family the women prefer their men to be seen and not heard. I handed the mic back to her, sat back down and raised my beer. I still think I got the biggest laugh of the night, despite all Mrs. Velo's efforts. Her Uncle - also married into that family - pulled me aside as soon as he could and said with a laugh that I had that family figured out. He still brings that up to me from time to time.

The MS Civil Engineering department at UT Tyler. It took all summer to get a word out of them but I finally heard today and they are reviewing my transcript to determine what leveling courses I may need.

We never got a glimpse of the last one. It was never out when we went.
Aren't they in the elephant family? African Elephant - 24 month gestation period. For most mothers it only seems like they are pregnant for two years.
Just wait until Cowgirl gets pregnant. She'll be complaining about it for half a decade.
Hopefully she will be lucky and not have a bad one. It's almost annoying how you can't totally explain the process to encourage new moms since everyone has a different experience.
We had the privilege to have parent firsts this week. Z had a small stomach virus (no fever) and threw up part of one day. She got it over with in the morning and has been well since.
I barrowed my friend's carpet cleaner for the living room though. I might have to wash the carpet again though. Any anti-smell ideas?

Maybe she does? After all, I'm a dude and would have no idea what the difference is.
When it happened in our car they used some kind of citrus cleaner. After 2 or 3 attempts it was gone.
