In your new house? For pete's sake, why? Between the mercury and the fact that LED's are more efficient, I don't understand why anyone would ever buy a CFL. I tried a few when it was the only option other than incandescent, but other than those 2 or 3, I went right from incandescent to LED.

Compared to incandescent, yes, but CFL->incandescent is 4X life span. LED->CFL is 33X. Like I was saying about my fridge bulb...it'll last 20 years...I'll take the bulb out of my eventually dead fridge and put it in the new one.

The bulb cost in the chart below is already out of date for LED's as well...I got 3 packs of LED's for less than $9 at Costco yesterday. Bought 4 3 packs.

I don't look at pinterest. Nor do I post cat memes on Facebook. If I post cat pics, they are of my own cats.
