My sister's husband is Jewish. They work the guilt too. Actually these all faiths share a lot of things.

FIFY.

Not to get cavey. This isnt anything against any religion. But all major religions have a main deity that suffered in some way, led his people, left in one form or another, came back again in one form or another and led his people again.

Yes, but only mine is right

I repped Carvers because I knew she couldn't reciprocate and would feel guilty about that too.

I guess if I have to be the rep ***** of Cyclone Fanatic, at least maybe it will help me level up.:spinny:

And Pants, I guess I meant in some different ways. The whole first part of a Catholic Mass through the Liturgy of the Word is based upon temple. Because my sister could not find a rabbi who would do the wedding back then, our priest incorporated some of the prayers and my brother-in-law helped him learn the Hebrew. They did the whole wine glass thing too. Both groups have suffered through bigotry and discrimination in this country, especially at times of large immigrations.

AAAAAAYE!

Horus, Buddha, Mithra, Osiris, all predate jesus and are pretty much the same guy.

So we ended up going to Rapid City last week. Hit Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Wall Drug (just as cheesy as I remember), Devil's Tower, Bear Country (as cool as I remember it...sorry Pants, I know your stance on those things) and the Maze.

We stayed in the Custer National Park, which I would recommend. Prices were actually comparable to most hotels we looked at

Now that I am apparently banned from spreading it for 24, getting repped and feeling guilty I can't rep back. Somehow Catholic guilt making me feel bad I can't spread it.

Catholic guilt: if you don't feel guilty, you're doing something wrong

Grew up Lutheran and didn't learn to do guilt.
I do struggle with regrets though.

It's great to be a Protestant and never feel guilt, even when we should.

We should all become agnostic theists, so we can be experts in every religion, and their problems.

Sprinkler story?

no!

a coworker left this spring who was super weird. I highly suspected they were leaving for another job but they gave a sob story about having to go help their family blah, blah. I've kept an eye on Google to see if they pop up again (because their Linkedin disappeared immediately). Saw today they are at a new job elsewhere. And they started just a few weeks after they left here. Looks like they possibly went back to school? Not sure if that's just an "I don't understand how to correctly add this to my resume thing" because they already had a PhD. But they are also working there.

I'm just like I knew it. I knew they were lying about the whole thing.

I wish it were more acceptable to just be honest with an employer instead of all the cloak and dagger BS.

"They are paying me more"
"I have to work less hours"
"I don't have to work nights/weekends"
"Their benefits are better"
"I need a change"
"I ****ed Jenny in HR and now she's claiming to be pregnant with my child"

etc etc etc

All valid reasons.

I just think it's somebody faking a story. If you're going to try to pass of a fake story, you've got to at least make it somewhat realistic to make it believeable.

The beauty of it wasn't the original story but the responses. 00 as the co-worker and CG's line that Rulzzz put in his sig line were awesome.
