the manager books weren't quite like that, but I found quite a bit as being relevant to things I do/say and helpful for things I can do differently. And just things about life/family/whatever.

Not even close. I'm still putting my furniture back together, boxes everywhere and my closet is a disaster.
ha, I didn't get that at first. Yeah I guess they assigned our modem to the house which made it not work at the apt, even though that modem is still here.
I've been like chattering about my move every day for a month. You should tell us more. Did you move by yourself or have help?
I've been hauling stuff to Omaha on weekend trips over the last few months and storing it at my besties house. She lives a mile from here so that's made it pretty easy. She b also helped haul stuff in Tuesday afternoon. Didn't get everything from Iowa on Tuesday so I had to go back today. Couch and new mattress/box spring were delivered yesterday.
ok I feel better knowing you didn't do this all in a weekend. I'd feel totes lazy then.
We finally got to take the rest of our wedding gifts out of boxes today. I have a couple shelves with wine glasses and fancy little glasses on it for drinking/making drinks. I liked opening and looking at it because it seemed so classy and adult.

One thing I haven't figured out, that back door won't work with those large fender flares. I suppose they could just make them non-functional, but that seems a waste.

so I think DH's parents after asking about things we needed to buy yet, and being told "do not buy, we don't know what we want/need" went ahead and got stuff for us anyway. The crazy part is I now feel guilty for knowing that I just want the receipt so we can return and figure out what we want ourselves. I'm sorry, but ignoring our wishes is not being helpful. It's like they think we play the opposite game. "Please don't come up this weekend because we are busy" must actually mean "please come up and stay the whole day". "Please don't purchase things for us we haven't figured out yet" must mean "just get it anyway, we're just playing coy"

Finally got the receipts. Now I'm sitting here in the office still at 4:30 on my Friday doing ******* expense reports.
Sounds like you need to read some management books. Or books on how to be a female. Or how to be a female manager.:twitcy:
Now your getting back in the saddle. I think maybe 55 makes you nervous and that's why you were swinging and missing so bad a couple of weeks ago.
