I was channel flipping because I was bored and I came across BattleBots and was all alright!! Then I watched and was like oh no!!!

Those bot "fights" were turrible.

Trunk...am I slow on the uptake? Well, I suppose that's already understood...but looking at your username a week or so ago, I thought Lache (cstrunk=seastrunk)...yea or nay? Hadn't thought of it before then, but then it hit me.

Nay. It was ironic though when I posted in threads about Seastrunk.

Starting temp 90 finish 84, 7 hills 51.4 miles 6hrs 20 min. probably .75 to an hr. worth of breaks 10-15mph head winds for about 20 miles. New high speed for the summer 40.5mph going down one big hill unluckily there was a whole lot of 4mph going up it. went thru 6-7 bottles of water, 1 ice cream bar and a pop. House felt like a fridge when I got in checked the temp and it was just under 80 lol. Long shower, a bowl of cantaloupe, some peanuts, a couple of Ibuprofen, finally started feeling good about 930 or so. Almost bit off more than I could chew but I made it, last 10 miles were pretty darn long. Good choices picking up a 2nd water bottle and getting a wicking T shirt. I may not be as Ragbrai ready as I thought.

Sadly by RAGBRAI we will all be more used to this weather. We hadn't had one of these hot muggy messes for a while.

That probably would have killed me. I think that is outside my limits.

Just sitting here tonight waiting for the power to go out. Raining like crazy and rain+wind+lightening usually = no power in this neighborhood.

My neighbors grassless lawn looks to be washing away and running down my path and covering my paver block driveway with a nice layer of mud.

Don't worry, I'll bring good weather with me.

My goal was to start that ride in the am but I had work that needed to get done. so I started when I could, probably wasn't the best choice.

Pants are you visiting the Midwest after your meeting in Vegas? Boxster is the dirt yard from new construction or did they try to reseed a yard and fail?

Yup. Coming back home for a little over a week immediately after. That way the company pays for the expensive leg of the flight and I just have to pay for the way home and back to Vegas (had to fly back to Vegas so the company would pay for the flight back). Apparently I need to consider visiting Boxster to get some tips on how to be smooth.

Guy never raked his yard last year* and let six inches of oak leaves sit on it until he had guys rake in at the end of spring. By than all the grass was dead. Of course all of his bare dirt slopes towards my place.

He has a bunch of big oaks but raking is sorta beneath him so when his guys never showed up before it snowed it never occurred to him that he could rake it himself like the guy next door. I mowed what little grass he does have there this afternoon because it looked like **** next to my mowed lawn. It's not like I live next to a trash house. It's a beautiful architect designed contemporary, probably an $800k house.
