My Discover was used in Chicago about a month ago. They're really good about closing your account for you and getting you set up with a new card.

UGH. Hopefully the already booked things aren't very important.

Nothing too serious. There was a cool looking dessert thing where you sit outside and watch fireworks. There was also some kinda candlelight processional that I was looking at, but they are booked already. Dinner reservations are what are surprising me the most. I reserved spots for the week, but I was already seeing "no times available" for around 50 restaurants.....for the end of December!

I picked their busy time, so I was expecting a few setbacks. No biggie. I'll still be on vacation instead of working. This probably sounds weird, but I'm looking forward to not driving a car for a week. My rush hour is pretty minimal, but the thought of not having to deal with other drivers for a week sounds really appealing.
