Rev, Some Okoboji stuff
1. Indian Hills golf course has real grass Putt Putt golf, might not be great for really little kids some of the holes are quite long but it's really fun.
2. Treasure Village mini golf and kids plays.
3. Free music at the green space @ Arnold Park every Sat. nite.
4. The amusement park is small but kind of neat, Tipsy house and Mirror Maze are free.
5. The Queen boat ride is sort of pricey but relaxing and you can see some houses from the lake.
6. Ia. history in the area Gardner cabin and the Spirit Lake Massacre all happened near by.
7. Taco House reasonable priced eats. Nutty Bars at the amusement park are good.
8. Lots of state parks in area I think Gull Pt. is really pretty but the new Bedell Park is underutilized and nice.

Sorry about the long post, but for once I've been somewhere people asked about.

1st 50 mile day on the bike 24 in the am, afternoon meeting then 26 tonite with Hickory Park afterwards. If I'm not careful I might get in good enough shape to hop on RAGBRAI for a couple of days.

I like the builder too but this is actually their trim guy. Much of the work is contracted out but they always try to work with this guy to do trim. We actually met him touring a house with the builder last year. He said how great the builder is to work with and then our builder joked about having paid for him to say that.

But yeah, trim guy is really nice. All the people who we've met have been, but I really like this guy.

Finally got an offer on our house and they completely low balled us because the kitchen doesn't have dark wood cabinets. Seriously? You are going to come in $10k under because the kitchen doesn't have dark wood cabinets?
