Is it weird that I have a jar of pickle juice and a jar of olives juice in my fridge? No pickles or olives. Just the remaining juice.

yeah, I think most of the time I will empty out empty things, lol. Though DH has two jars of jam in there right now. A nearly empty one and a 3/4 empty one. I made a face at him for that.

Then I had moldy shoes in the closet so we're even I suppose.

I get all the paperwork done and submitted for the new job. Go to print out the confirmation page for drug testing and the printer suddenly decides it doesn't want to cooperate anymore.

oh interesting. I mean, I figured green beans but I've never heard of it before. Do you pickle things? I need to do that sometime when we have a garden. Hold someone from Tipsy Cow hostage until they give me the recipe for their pickles.

I do about anything related to making food. Got the food bug when I was laid off and that was all I could afford for a hobby. Not much on baking, though, but I'm a savory guy, not sweets. So, yeah, I haven't actually made the bean/garlic pickles, but I've made dills of a few different recipes, this last year the big projects were sweet relish with cukes from our CSA, and homemade applesauce with apples from the hippie food store. Both turned out yummies. I often crack a jar of applesauce just to dump it on top of a pork roast.

Speaking of which, final tally was 8.75 quarts of chicken stock for the basement pantry...and it's thick as ****....like you take a sip of it, and it sticks to your lips, you're still tasting it hours later.
