just did here too. Had to explain to my coworkers when they did the test sometime in Oct/Nov that no, it was not a real tornado. Just a test.
Hm....here I thought those were to indicate that I was rocking Mrs. 00clone's world.
was just thinking a little thunderstorm sounds cool. Haven't minded severe weather when I'm an apartment and the good car is underground.......hated it on the farm though and I'll probably dislike it again when we have a house.
just realized my house has a wide open view to the west like the farm did. Huh. The apartment you can't see crap from the west and that always made storm watching annoying.
Weird thing to do to your good car. I guess whatever you've got to do to keep it from DH getting behind the wheel.
ain't no storm getting that car in the basement. Or DH. Just people backing out of their stalls. :skeptical:

Nope. Wife does. I'm right by the border though. The river near my work is quite lovely. When the stars align just right, I can get fireworks, drugs, dirty prostitutes, and a serial-number-free firearm just by taking a short stroll from our office.
My recruiting pitch mainly focuses on "...and we don't work nights"
Speaking of severe weather. We have been really lucky for living smack dab in the middle of tornado alley for two years. We have been in one tornado warning and I think three severe thunderstorm warnings. Granted the tornado would have killed us if it would have dropped the last 100 feet or so.
They're like cockroaches. Lights come on, they scatter. And the ones that don't, just stay the hell away from 'em.
