I know Dish will have a free HBO weekend in April when the new Game of Thrones season starts (also Silicon Valley starts). I've watched all of GOT but hubby is only on episode 5 of season one. He's got some catching up to do.

Any bicycle experts here? I own a Trek mountain bike, but I'm looking to get a hybrid for long distance riding and riding to work. I'm going to a local place in Ames today to look around.

I've got a hybrid it's ok and has been really dependable Trek 720 old bike early 90's probably. Unless you want to do gravel or hardpack rock trails, I would recommend a road bike lots less work for going down the road. That being said I've never upgraded just looked longingly at those carbon fiber frames easily rolling along.

We are taking two of my wife's daycare kids to the Kansas Aviation Museum. We will see if they like it more than me.

I'd get a road bike but they're more expensive and I know I'll still be on trails every once in a while. Thanks for your input. My coworker just got a Cannondale quick 4 which looks and sounds like a really solid bike.

I have a hybrid Trek 7.2 FX. It is great for road or light off-roading. It won't handle mud or anything like that but it is comfy and has served me well. We go on a few rock trails so we needed the hybrid. If you aren't going to go on rock just get a road bike if your back and shoulders can handle it. If you think you may, ever in the future, go on a rock trail get a Trek Hybrid. The 5.1 is a nice starter one that's not too expensive.

I just read a review on your bike. The guy knew what he was talking about and he picked this bike as the best. The shop I'm going to doesn't sell Trek bikes though so I need to find somewhere that does. I really like my Trek mountain bike.

I flipped on episode 1 on a Friday night last year during a free HBO week. Season 5 was going to start that Sunday. Thought I would "check out" this GoT thingy. Hooked! Binge watched the first three season in 48 hours and in time to catch the season 4 premier that Sunday!

No Skittles involved, the binge was wine and pie fueled.

Angel food cake baked, strawberries sliced, kitchen cleaned, bills paid. Well time to go clean brush.

Don't eat the pie or drink the wine, didn't you learn anything! :) Trying to re - watch with hubby. Catching a lot of the little references you wouldn't know (without seeing or reading the books). I also watched it on my phone mainly while I was on the treadmill. Better to watch on the big screen tv.

Picture it Pants. She shows up in a nun outfit holding a freshly baked pie.

I think Pants had something a little more like this in mind - but the pie is probably appropriate.

If you are doing some road riding as well as some trails you could get a cyclocross bike. For an example see my avatar.

By the way, I was thinking of you this morning, Pants.
