Who's plane? Renting or flying a friends? You didn't run out and buy one for the new baby, did you?

Uncles plane. If he was a decent instructor I could have probably been signed off for a high performance rating and on the verge of a complex rating. Sadly he is an engineer that isn't the best at teaching and the 7 hours of flight yesterday only had two landings.

He's the instrument panel of the one I am going to get you to buy from my Cyclone buddy up here in Mpls.

Not too shabby. The one thing I hate about Bonanza's is that stinking annoying center control column. You have to reach under it to get to all the switches including gear and flaps. As someone who currently fly's a plane in which each yoke is connected behind the panel and just likes cleab simple designs it just seems cluttered.

The Kyven Gadsen post championship interview was a good watch on the wrestling thread. Best wishes to him, He comes across as extremely level headed for his age.
Well KU went one game deeper in the tourney than us, way to represent Rock Chalk.

Interesting. I was reading a couple of Phog.net threads earlier. You can't even read the threads now without creating an account, and it's simply not that important to me. :)

Anyone play Crossy Road? Hubby is playing Poopy Pigeon while we have the Iowa game on mute. The sound effects are perfect.

9:30 p.m. old man snowball toss. Hit the ginko tree on the first try. YES!

Dude the snowfall rates the SW side is getting is a good reminder that winter is not over in Minnesota until June.

Coincidentally that is also the reason why my wife won't let me apply at a company in Duluth.

Actually it didn't snow enough this year. Worst year ever for my pachysandra and vinca ground covers. Cold *** weather without the snow cover = big time winter kill on stuff that I have never had winter kill with before. Landscape boy is not as happy as snowball boy.

After 11 night before classes resume and we have yet to hear from BU. Did he run off with the Australian girl?

Boxster, you undersold yourself in the hobby thread, you collect cool cars.
Wxman, you need to convince your wife that 6 months of possible snowfall isn't all bad, Duluth is a neat town.
Louisville has some UGLY uniforms.
Well MBB is over for the state of Ia. UNI sure didn't get any breaks in their game.

Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night to the tick-tick of freezing rain/sleet on the window. About 1/* ice on everything this morning. View out my back window:

NW-I have been given a mandate of no farther north than Iowa.

00-Between that crap and the presidential political season starting I am questioning moving back.

We had thunder/lightning and a bit of sleet but nothing too much. But combine that noise with a snoring person next to you and it doesn't make for very good sleep.

We lived in MN for 7 years and never owned a snowblower. Bought one when we moved to Iowa. The worst blizzard we have lived in was in Iowa. We liked the Twin Cities but wouldn't be able to go much farther north.
