That suddenly quiet silence. Is she asleep, is she learning how to climb out of the crib.......?

If she is learning to climb out of the crib, there will usually be a big "thud" on the first attempt. With our first, after that thud the crib came down (she was 2). I like to keep them contained as long as we can.

My younger son climbed IN before he ever climbed out...he was tired and whiny and toodled back to his room...I followed him a minute later & he was halfway over the lowered side. :)

Note to self: Next year don't let my roomates know how well Iowa State is doing in basketball and how much I'm watching them. Any chance they can they are getting potshots in at me and our loss. It's all in good fun, but I'm running out of comebacks.

Some people never learn where that line is when the jokes become UNfunny. Tell them they each get one more joke, then call a moratorium. If that doesn't work, put ants in their beds. :)

or glitter.

Especially if they have significant others that come over!

You guys fight dirty. I like it.

It's all in good fun, especially since they don't normally have any ammunition against me. My default response at the moment is to flip them the bird and pick some creative curse combinations. Although if I get another 'What time are you playing today?' comment I might resort to glitter.

End of the 10 week session. I had 7 people to start and 5 completed the whole program. They lost a total of 52.75 lbs! They improved the number of Push Ups by 46, Sit ups by 65, and averaged three minutes off of their mile run.

Whoo.

Over the ISU loss enough to watch some basketball. Class 4A Minnesota HS gals championship. Cyclone recruit TT Starks is playing.

Joke time
A Scottish mother visits her son at his NYC apartment and asks "How do you like Americans Donald?"
" Mother "he replies "They are such noisy people. One neighbor bangs his head against the wall all night long, while the other one screams all night.
"Oh son, How do you put up with them?"
"What can I do?" he replies, "I just lie in bed quietly, playing my bagpipes."

Hope you like the joke Woo. :)

Oh, hey, that reminds me...for all you excercise-ey types....I finally did it and jogged today. I mean, it was at least 100 feet or so. Forgot my phone in the car when we went for a hike with the kids and dog. Felt bad since everyone was waiting on me.

However, to make up for it, I did a few shots of Reddi-Wip right out of the can into my mouth after dinner.
