This is the first time I've actually been angry after a tournament loss (didn't follow back in 2000 and 2001 because I was just in high school and didn't grow up in an Iowa State family).

Well. I was kind of angry after Ohio State. But also knew what we were up against. This is the first time I've seen a Fred coached team not up for a tournament game, outside of Thomas and McKay.

But, it's also probably pretty hard to play basketball when you're ******* your pants up and down the court all game long.

I did! I talked about grabbing her butt and everything!

Okay, not on you then. Hoping hubby's work doesn't have to replace some of their screens after today. We remember Hampton all too well. :(

I was going to make cookies when we won. Not sure cookies will help after this loss, but may be worth a try.

on a good note, a good friend from college was texting me about his new job and stuff, I asked if he was still dating the girl from last fall and he calls to tell me they are engaged!

Dedication Award! Still coming in even though working and newborn at home. Whooo.

Now to make up one more just encase and I'm done. :P

Now is not the time, CG!!!!!

dude, I gotta find something to be happy about. My head is pounding, still have a ton of data to pull, and a gopher fan just asked if I'm on suicide watch. Have the gophers even made the tourney in the past twenty years?! Asked how far I had them going in my bracket............WAY TOO FAR!

I woke up at 4:45am for a conference call, stayed awake to watch the game, and now have a full day of work ahead of me. I can't even drink away my sorrows for another 10 hours.

lock the office door and start drinking on the job.

I'm up to two welfare checks now.

I had a friend text me immediately to tell me ISU screwed his bracket.

I responded with "I don't really give a **** about your bracket."

He hasn't responded.

saw that on FB too, though at least they gave the sarcastic thanks to UAB and not ISU, I suppose.

this is all Obama's fault. He normally has us losing early and this year he had us playing Duke.

Thanks, Obama.

Gotta pay for that house somehow, eh? Way to work the system.

*edit: I typed that because it was there, but my heart wasn't in it.

ha, well it'd be nice if they'd bring me money when they check to see if I'm alive. They must also think I'm a much more serious fan. Because I'm ****** and all, but I said it earlier this week - this team was hard to trust. I saw them playing into April as easily as I saw them losing this weekend. Well, technically I guess they didn't even get that far.

I had a bad feeling at halftime - felt just like the Tech and Baylor games where were were just phoning it in.

Not the time for humor, I suppose...joke was referring to the other kind of welfare checks.

Guy who replaced me as manager (Mo. fan) texted me after the game with a smartarse comment, I responded with EABOD. Got to work, he kept talking, even though Mo. ain't in the dance at all. Guess if he can't learn his job in a year, I shouldn't expect him to learn when to shut his mouth, either.

like from the government, right? My tone might seem mad, I'm exasperated but it probably reads the same, ha. I'm not quite to the puppy-stomping levels some have going on over in the other threads.
