I'm guessing she was angry?

Do you ask the same kind of thing when the men throw punches in the pits? Just curious...

You think that's insulting to ask about a woman? Try asking a man if he's having his period....

:pwink:

But seriously...when I saw that post, I thought....Ohhh....KC's all over that one...

In fairness some announcer should probably ask one of these dudes "Bobby, is it true you pour testosterone on your cereal in the morning rather than milk?" and than duck because "Bobby" will take a swing at him because, yes, he does indeed eat his cereal with testosterone and not milk.

:twitcy:

Not all over it per se, but I don't think guys realize how casually sexist that comment is...
That was simply a mild reminder. :)

I'm glad you said it and not me.

I follow "Minion Quotes" on FB. This was from yesterday...

One advantage of age... ;)

Matter of fact, that's the same picture I use for my wallpaper on my work computer (sans quote). It's a little more polite than the mouse flipping off an eagle that I used to have...

While we are on the disrespecting women topic.

Where did the whole "you can't ask a woman her age" thing come from? Is it generational?

Oh, I realize it, and I'd suspect that the OP does as well...I think the post was specifically intended to generate a response, and it did...I just don't think every sexist thing needs to elicit a response, especially when (I believe) the entire reason for the comment is to generate a response.

Women say sexist things to me all the time....it's so nice that you help your wife with the kids/around the house...wait, you cook at your house?....you wouldn't understand, you're a man....

but I don't feel the need to respond to them, because I'm secure in myself, and correcting dummies isn't a desired pastime of mine anymore....as CG used the quote...they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Well now...

Why don't you read through this post again, through my eyes?
