Hah...I didn't even know the grammy's were on.

Random: You know what I find frustrating? People that say "fusstrating"

Also, those who say...

"Melk" (Milk)
"Onvelope" (Envelope)
"Aks" (Ask)
"Bidness" (Business)
"Probly" (Probably)
"Wadn't" (Wasn't)

And yes if I hear it, I will correct them in public like a teacher.

I've lived in six different states, but my parents were Texan and I spent most of my first five years there. If I'm really tired the Texan comes back, but really, the way I pronounce words is a hodgepodge from around the country, so I'm not even sure WHY I pronounce it ONvelope...or use EYEther and EEther pretty much interchangeably.

My friends tease me sometimes when the Texan shows up. For instance, to me, "I tell you what" is a complete. :)

Edit: Sentence. Complete SENTENCE. Sheesh

I wouldn't doubt it

It is...mostly because there are so many rules, and so many exceptions to those rules. And we as Americans are very lax in our sentence structure and grammar, both when speaking and when writing. Add to that the fact that a significant portion of us can't complete a written sentence without depending on spillchick and have begun to use textspeak in normal writing and it's apparent that even those of us born and raised here struggle with learning it. :)
