In this case I am. I think you probably know me well enough to know most of the time I'll play along and mix it up, but the last time the random thoughts haters came in with the only purpose of shutting the thread down, we tried mixing it up, and the haters accomplished their goals by getting it shut down. When it came back, the mods said that to keep it from happening again, we need to self police rather than engaging. So, this is the one place I will do that. Really...I hate it, because running to the mods seems like such a pantywaste thing to do and smacks of the kid that always gets picked on that immediately runs to a teacher instead of just standing up for himself, but we tried the stick up for yourself route and it gave the people that just wanted to close the thread what they wanted, and we were told to do this route, so we do.
I completely don't mind any and all random thoughts/discussions, and I don't want it to seem like there's an in-group that are the only ones allowed, but when talk of 'why isn't this closed' starts, we need to stop it.
You know, Boxster, if Porsche wants to get in the game with Ferrari and Lamborghini, they're really going to have to up their performance on the number of random and unpredictable self-immolating incidents. I mean you hear about them every once in a while, but with Ferrari and Lambo...it's almost like a celebrity news site where you're just waiting for the next big one to happen.
Starting to get myself mentally prepared for the mind numbing 8 hour drive back to CR tonight. Thank god for podcasts and satellite radio.
I like to imagine that whenever there is an issue with CF, one MOD PM's the other mod with the picture from Anchorman and a caption that says, "MOD TEAM, ASSEMBLE!" Is that anywhere near close what happens?
When you arriving/leaving? I'm not too far from there (although we're out of town for some of the next weeks too).
No special tools needed but lots of stuff to remove, pain in the ***. Fortunately coolant, oil and battery are accessible without having to do this.
BTW, why people be all complaining about topics here, for cryin' out loud you posted about a burning car, that's way guy cool (would have been worthy of it's own thread if you had video!).
Hope to be there by 1:30AM and we will probably get tired of family on the 30th and come back then.

But, it's probably not nearly as fun as that...but without real info, my imagination just makes things up.

Why would ****'s Sporting Goods put money back in my account after I received my order? This has got to be to good to be true.
I'm that guy in the office today. I brought in leftover corned beef and cabbage to heat up in the microwave.
I'm thinking tomorrow I'll bring in some leftover fish for lunch. For an afternoon snack, I'm going to put some microwave popcorn in there, set the timer at 6 minutes and leave.
