We were watching, but I have been busy baking and making treats again. My oldest got to watch Stanford and was a game helper when they played here. Penn State was impressive tonight. I was commenting on their static-y hair and my daughter said the underlayment makes everything really staticky. She got to meet Karch Kiraly and had a picture taken with him, we were pretty impressed.

cowgirl, let's start a short league. 5'7 would be the height limit.

how cool for your daughter! We got to watch PSU a couple times up here the last two years...........Hancock's serve is frightening in person!

Colbert ending is making me sad. DH and I used to watch that most nights in college. It's just weird that something that was such a part of our routine is ending.

That's still half a foot taller than me... :(

So 00, I posted on Facebook about the brownies you sent and since have had two other people ask for my address to send me stuff. Your random act of kindness has resulted in me getting more swag.

Just got home. Did all the tests and things didn't show anything. There is a history of heart issues in our family so can't take any chances.

some comic relief the nurse who gave my mom information on all the tests had a hawkeye lanyard and make a remark about it as I was wearing my ISU chef pants. I said it's all right we all make mistakes and she fired back at least you can admit yours. I wanted to say SCOREBOARD lady, but kept my mouth shut.

Always better to err on the side of caution, hope she is feeling better. Try to get some rest--always easier said than done.

Scary times! I'm glad she's okay.

Was your mom at Story County or Mary Greeley? If it was SC, your nurse may be our neighbor, one of six acreages on a private lane. Five families are all Cyclone (complete with Cyclone yard decor); the fifth family we call our token Hawkeyes...and the wife is an ER nurse at SC.

The family makes all kinds of cookie & candy treats every Christmas and brings collections of them to each of the rest of us, so I can't "hate" her too much. We even gave them some random Hawkeye tulip bulbs that showed up in our yard (yellow with black centers). :)
