So my 15 year old niece tagged me in a picture on Facebook that's of her and my dog. Some creeper dude started trying to bang her in the comments, so I went all protective uncle and he doesn't even want to participate in an online fight. Kind of sad. I was hoping he'd be more lippy.

Pants, yes it is like custard.

Birdy, do they make disposable ramekin size dishes? I eat the extra filling that way.

Sorry, can't move. I'm holding out hope that the Hoiberg twins will marry their HS sweethearts, too. And that my daughter happens to be one. There are two of them, so chances are twice as high, right?! So gotta stick around another 6 years. ;)

Birdy, are the twins 5th or 6th grade? The Gilbert 5th grade boys team played at halftime tonight & I was trying to figure out if they were down there. :)

Iowa playing Alcorn Braves. Doesn't that violate their anti-offensive mascot sensitivity fatwa or something?
Worth watching to watch the tall Woodbury dude play bad. He got a shot blocked by a 5'9" dude. Very quiet in Carver Hawkeye.

Dodgeball GOOD NEWS: We won AND I GOT SOMEONE OUT! I totally got cheers and high fives. DH pointed out that I almost got out because I was jumping so much and someone almost got me. He also thought I got a 2nd person out (we were 3-3 so that would mean I got 2 of the remaining 3) but I didn't see that.

The bad part. I totally drank out of DH's water bottle forgetting the whole sick thing. So I'm back to hoping it's food poisoning. BUT I GOT SOMEONE OUT!

So the wife put out this elf on the shelf thing. She got it on clearance after last christmas and put it away with the decorations. I think she probably told me the deal with it, but I probably wasn't listening, plus, that's a year ago. Girls....what I needa know?
An elf showed up at our place the other day. He's been tearing the **** out of our house since he arrived. The wife isn't finding it very humorous. I love it.

Does anyone else's elf have a name?

They are in 6th grade. The Hoiberg family was stretched thin tonight--Dad had a home game, Paige and Jack had away HS bball games, and the twins had a band concert. My parents gave up their bball tix for tonight to listen to the 6th graders play 4 band songs. ;)

Yes, but I will not share it out of utter embarrassment that my 4 year old son picked that name (no it's not herky or something). But, they say kids that age will pick a name of either someone they know (first choice was his younger brother's name), or something they happen to see that instant...and that's what we got.

I'm sure there's a good explanation, but this almost sounds creepy the details you know here...
