Maybe? Sometimes? Probably not.

Pants should weigh in, he's got the knee issues. My knees sound like gravel grating but don't hurt that bad or that often. I just assume all old knees sound like that? I did have some loose cartilage or bone chips inside that floated off to some spot where it stopped barking at me. More of a wait and see than a total ignore.

Isn't the 1st Rule of Guy Health to always ignore pain stuff with a 2nd Rule being if you do Rule #1 you cannot complain about it to a spouse of significant other.

Depends on what was done to hurt the knee. Did you just wake up with it like that? If so, walk that **** off.

I know there was a whole thread on that but what brand/model did you get? I have to check to see if sis has cut cable to old NE Iowa abode. We need to if she hasn't done it.

The antenna? Winegard FL6550A.

For some reason, I don't think I paid that much for it, but who knows, that was just a quick Amazon search. It's amplified, so it can be split, and I'm about 50 miles from the broadcast towers. I'm getting 20 channels. As well, it's not a humongous thing, it's 14" X 14". But, it's directional, so depending on the application, YRMV. For me, pretty much all of the towers are 30-50 miles to the NE in a nice pattern for me, other than the really close ones, which are almost 180 the other way, and those I can pick up with a wet finger held in the air, so no probs.

Also, Winegard is headquartered in Burlington, IA, and their products are made there.

oh yeah, and smaller south Vietnamese helis could land on the US navy ships and then they'd get the people out and push the helicopters into the water. Actually push since there are no wheels. That video was crazy.

found the story complete with pictures!

guess it was just the wife and kids aboard, thought he had some neighbors.

This is giving me a "I am so old that" moment .
I am so old that I watched this on the evening news.

My last four thumbs ups were from 4 of the 6 ladies of RTT. Carvers and Revkah, I'm calling you out for ruining the sexfecta. I'm just going to assume that's the word for the trifecta version of the word with 6 instead of 3.

Not allowed to happen any more around our house. Not after he ignored a kidney stone for somewhere around ten years, and eventually ended up going through 3 surgeries, four invasive tests and close to 10 weeks total of having a stent in there. Not to mention the loss of about 15% of his right kidney function. The only good news in all of that was that they originally thought he had lost all function in that kidney due to not getting the stone (and blockage) removed. Now, if he so much as winces, I'm all over him like white on rice.

What kind of ticket do you get for dropping a ladder on an Interstate? Whatever it is, it's not enough.

Some of the larger ships no longer fit through, hence the need for a new canal. Current options I've heard are Panama, Costa Rica, or Nicaragua.

Congrats GTO on getting post 15,000 of RT III!

Velo knows there's nothing but love. Ever since the Artist Formerly Known as MJacobs fooled us with his fake tweets a few months back.

They should just go through Lawrence, KS. A giant hole filled with water would be an improvement.

Got something against brown rice? .... racist :jimlad:

Failure to secure your load at least. They should lose their license. It's ******* ridiculous how often it happens.

I've seen three in the past year on my way home from work. The first time, I stopped the car and yanked it off the road (I-70). My. Wife. Was. ******! She asked what would have happened had someone clipped the ladder doing 75mph while I was sitting on the side of the road waiting for them to pass....yeah, it probably wouldn't have ended well for me.

I decided to leave the other two sitting in the road and call them in instead.

My wife gets equally upset if I stop to help someone that's broken down or has a flat. She probably has a point, but I doubt I'll change much on that regard.
