Since we're on the OT topic of Minnesota, I will be in Minnetonka this summer. I will be coming up I94, hotel is right off 394. So should I take 94 through downtown to 394, or take 494 to go around the city and up through Minnetonka to 494? Will be traveling either late on a Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning, and traveling back on a Sunday. Just want info on how busy traffic usually is.

I run the I-94/3954 gauntlet everyday. Westbound 94 in morning rush is horrible. I am going the other way and all I see is gridlock westbound.

Westbound in the afternoon or early evening (when I am rolling back home) also blows chunks. Pretty much total gridlock between 280 and the exit to 394.

Whatever route you choose is going to suck in rushhour.

My go to traffic mappie is this one:

Whoops, sorry. Boxster is right. For some reason I read 35W/394. 94 is a nightmare no matter how you slice it unless you are just on the stretch north and west of the downtown Minneapolis tunnel.

If the right lane is closing and you need to merge left into my lane, don't get ****** at me when I don't let you in if you're not even going to turn on your blinker to move over.

someday I'm going to road rage out on these people and run them off the road. Makes me see red when they have plenty of space to merge behind me but decide to floor it and cut me off instead. Someone did that to me and the car ahead of me today as the lane was ending. IL plates. Made think no wonder WI people hate us.

Maple Grove is the new Edina. Well, actually just another Eden Prairie or Eagan. Safety factor is ISU campus level less the drunk college kids.

Are you talking running around or running or both? Either way a young pup like you and your hubby should be hangin' at Uptown and running around the city lakes and such, not hanging out in boring suburbia with the soccer moms and dads.

Staying at a hotel in that area and I just meant for going out for a quick run Saturday morning.

Ice-T is just as bad. Seeing him carrying that tiny dog everywhere on his reality show makes me think both him and Ice Cube were never truly gangsta. Just a couple of posers.
Both of them still have their fingers in a few bad *** things but the whole nice guy family persona is disappointing. Everyone grows up and moves on but they didn't just calm down, they flipped a complete 180 on what made them icons.

It must be the L because IL and FL are hands down the two worst driver states I've ever experienced.

let's be clear though, it's Chicago drivers who are bad. We hated them in my part of IL too. One went through our fence and others almost hit tractors a few times.

Per Minneosta DNR and state statute:

Once the rabbit is captured in the live trap, you may dispose of it in any humane manner other than poison. If you choose to relocate, it is suggested that the animal be taken at least five miles away and out-of-town, before releasing the animal on any public or private land, obtain permission from the governing agency or landowner.

Riding the lightning might not be humane and technically the lead I use, after i am in the garage, isn't poison in this situation so I am thinking I am good.

Well, good, other than discharging a firearm within the city limits. I am pretty sure being outside with a gun in GV would get me shot 30 times by the police and I would be the next big police shooting story.

"Yes, we do acknowledge that Mr. Boxster was only armed with a single shot pellet gun but upon arrival at the scene it looked like an RPG and with his dark hair and beard we assumed he was a terrorst so immedaiely opened fire. He should have been clean shaven and this would never have happened. And there is his criminal history dating back to that speeding ticket in 1989. "

I cannot shoot them out of the window anymore, too many new neighbors with kids that I don't know that well. I trap them in a Havaheart and take them into the garage for the Green Mile.

My step-grandpa had a pretty impressive garden back in the day, in the middle of suburban Chicago. He'd trap raccoons, and then say "they died of lead poisoning". I'm thinking that wasn't necessarily legal in town.

Not sure if I fall into that category...

Totally random: I'm craving spaghetti, but a) no beef in the house, and b) way too exhausted to think about making it.
