I pretty much cant work. Student Body Gov generally takes up about 5-15 hours a week
aaaaaaaand now for the basketball meltdown. It does make me curious what that charge actually means. My nasty roommate in Freddy would have people over to do drugs - including a dealer. I usually tried to go to DH's those weekends. But it makes me wonder what would have happened had I been there when it was going on.

It is mainly a big deal because: 1. It IS illegal here. 2. One of our good players was stupid and got caught 3. People are often stupidly passionate about their teams. As for weed itself, why do that to yourself when you don't need to. Find a better distraction hobby. I haven't looked into the medical side of it, so I can't comment there, but there are so many more better things to do if you need something that zones you out.
cyrevkah is right for the most part. I've never done weed though have been asked to at parties (shocked you guys) , it's generally overblown as severity but personally I think it's stupid. I had an internship lined up last summer during February (how my car got hit) and had to keep clean. It's easy for me to stay out of trouble but there are a couple of friends I have who did weed at parties, in same car, etc. I quit all of that 2nd semester because all it takes is ONE time to get caught and you are screwed.
sounds like he had it coming. cowgirl would like this story, I was doing insanity in my dorm ( thought it was quiet hours, wasn't) last year and got warned once for a noise complaint for being too loud. After that I was sneakier in not getting caught.
Blerrr-rrrggh...(disclosure: this will probably be vaguebooking and random ranting, but it's home alone Thursday and I need to vent somewhere...sorry...you guys get to deal with it)....
If the various christian faiths spent more time worrying about the 95% that they all have in common and making sure their church body lived that 95% instead of focusing on the 5% that's different between them...they'd all be much better off....

I guess both. I am glad you were exposed to life outside of the farm and church. I have known a lot of home schooled kids that didn't have that. Being on the farm was probably the biggest factor in you not getting it.
Ha, dude we had tv and even left the house sometimes. I would say parents could have done more to get us out but it was probably more the farm than the schooling thing. Because even when we were still in public school it's not like we did a ton then either. Interesting that you assume church was a big part of our life. I know that's common in those circles, but it wasn't for us. At least more than any normal small-town rural America family.
Why do that to relive stress? I've played video games, hung out with friends, Watched a favorite movie or read a book, or made myself cry (great way to get the stress out). I've done other things too, I just can't think of them right now.
