Ahh, okay, so kind of in-between my two scenarios. Well, welcome back, then. If ya get bored some morning, give me a shout, I'm around until 1 or so. Being on 2nd shift, and having been unemployed, I know those mornings can be the worst...but I guess you got the wife and kiddo....

Will do. If said employer doesn't contact me after a couple days up there (basically two weeks from now) I am going to start getting looking at other options to make money. I am done waiting around.

Papalew has a new midlife crisis involvement named Bambi. She likes to go topless, which is good because she's got nice headlights.

Bambi with an "i" ? I approve.

I'm envisioning fuzzy cuffs instead of fuzzy dice. The air freshener should be in the shape of a stiletto and it should smell like bubble gum and lost dreams. And when the airbag deploys, .....

Same.

I love to cook, and I'm ready to try a new recipe, but I'm out of ideas as to what I want to try.

Well, my lunch was good...made it up, turned out good.

Chop an onion, cook in 1/4 cup butter. When clear, add 1/4 cup flour. Cook until slightly brown, whisk in 2 cups milk and one packet of ranch dressing seasoning. Remove from heat and whisk in 1C shredded swiss cheese.

Separately, cook and drain 1 LB of some sort of noodles (I used Rotelle...almost typed Rotella, but please don't use diesel engine oil)

Add 1 1/2 C chopped cooked chicken, 3/4 C chopped/crumbled cooked bacon, 1C frozen chopped broccoli, and the sauce back into the drained noodles. Put into casserole dish.

Mix 2 TBLSP melted butter and 1/2-3/4 cup bread crumbs and put on top of the casserole. If you have time, cook at 350 until warm and topping is brown. Wife was in a hurry and casserole was hot enough, so I just put it under the broiler to crisp up the topping...maybe 5 minutes or so...if you do this, put it in the lowest rack you can so you don't burn the topping.

Wife asked what it was, I called it Ranch Chicken Club casserole (you know, chicken, bacon, swiss and bread?)

Last Wednesday, one of my work website passwords was "ISUwins!"

When I returned this week, "Your password has expired" :skeptical:

No joke.

This made me realize that 00clone should cool it with the KC old comments because this statement could conceivably apply to me.

Actually, yesterday I calculated that my HS classmate's child is now old enough to legally buy beer by probably a year or two.

Double

Age range is 40 down to 33. The oldest & youngest are biologically PapaLew's (remember, we're a blended family). They were born in December 1974 and October 1981. The two I gave birth to were born in December 1977 & July 1979. The girls are November 1975 and March 1978.

I'm totes still younger than any of them then.

Hey guys. Have I missed anything for the past 6 days?

I'm not really responding to these. I'm just linking them because I'm lazy. I've been sharing this conversation with PapaLew. :p

I'm getting caught up on likes and rep from the thread about one of my posts. It's pretty awesome. Gotta love the off season.

I was born in 1979!

I ordered a new ISU shirt for my daughter early last week. I got it on Monday and opened it up. OU Sooner shirt. Cy's Locker Room has got some 'splainin to do

Unless you ordered it directly by calling the store, online "store" is run by lids.com. Don't go blaming the store, they are awesome there (helps when you are friends with the manager).

I was just thinking about this. At our 20yr class reunion 2 years ago our class valedictorian had a child who was in college. I was class salutatorian and had a 3mo old at the time. I'm sure there are a couple classmates who have even older kids.
