a guy purposefully got eaten by an anaconda. For some stupid show. He lived an all. And many dollars were spent making him a suit to survive it. What.

I was at ISU for 6.5 calendar years (4.5 actually in school, 2 semesters off to work, 2 semesters off for paid internships...essentially needed to work, but it was in my major). I went to one football game, and was in Hilton for career fairs and one concert. I paid my own way thru school (with student loans and taking semesters off) and worked 15-20 hours on top of full time schedule...which meant, I was working nights and every weekend. When there were games going on, I was working. The one football game I went to was my last semester, I forced myself to take it off so I would go to one before I graduated. We got creamed by aTm on national TV in fall of 2000.

I worked 30 hours a week on top of my 15 credit semesters, so I feel ya.

Only went to two basketball games. Too hard to get to on weekdays.

I did go to all football games, but I also wrote about football for the Daily for a semester, so it wasn't particularly optional.
 
With people this season complaining about the football team and whether it was the "worst team ever", my husband likes to counter with he was in band during the 0-10-1 season, and did not have the option to leave at the half.

Lotsa weird stuff happening tonight. Which all means Double ought has to help with everything.

This would have been my first season of not going to football games while attending ISU...so that plays in as well.
 
Watching Quigley Down Under because I need a fun movie and Tom Selleck is good in it and the character Laura San Giacome plays is just cute funny weird.
 
Arkansas fan started dropping the N word in the eating crow thread, then said it was okay because he used the one ending in "a".

Yeah, if the south tries to secede again, can we just let them go?

Yup, I can't say that without singing "oh-ten-and-one" to the tune of O'Tanenbaum that was sung at band banquet that year.

My experience is people up north actually try to not be racist while people down south just try not to appear racist. I'm a Yankee and they are still mostly Confederates to me.

Quigley is only 2 stars? Crazy Cora makes it three stars for me and the wine tonight makes it 4 stars. Just sayin'.
