Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

Last weekend for Luna Valley farm this year. Thinking about taking a day trip with the whole family up to the Decorah area for an excuse to get it one more time.

A favorite aspect of doing something like that is it's super easy to do, and if you stay there it doesn't even really feel like a 'vacation' vacation. It's really relaxing and it's not a task to get anywhere.

We'll be at Pulpit Rock tonight & tomorrow night. Swing by if you feel like it. Unless you're talking about next weekend...cause we'll be back home then. :D

Is that the outdoor pizza place that was posted? It looked really fun/nice.

Yup, the pizza is wonderful and the setting is even better. They did build a shelter with picnic tables but other than that treat it like a picnic and bring your own table service/carry out waste. All you get from them is your pizza in a box and drinks in a cup.

First day of fall semester classes at ISU and I figuratively pounded my head against my monitor when I read this paragraph in the message about what's available from the hort farm this week. Note: At first I thought it was a play on words. Sigh.

Subject line: "Leaks and much more"
First paragraph of message: "New this week Leaks. We also have onions, fresh greens, green beans, eggplant, herbs, and lots of other produce listed for you to enjoy."
