Was looking through the list of events that espn is airing on the Ocho the next few days and their is some can't miss competitions. Most notably the mullet championship and the Microsoft excel world championship. Not to be outdone though is the solid back to back lineup of corgi racing and dog surfing. I'm waking my son up at 4am on Saturday for the river stone skipping, that's a sport you just have to watch live to appreciate.

CyRide Hub and stop, and commuter parking are changing in the Iowa State Center lots. This is from today's Inside Iowa State:

The CyRide Hub and commuter parking at the Iowa State Center lots will relocate in early August as part of the athletics department's CYTown development. On Monday, Aug. 7, the current CyRide bus stop on Alumni Lane will move to the northeast corner of the center lots, adjacent to lot D3. The new CyRide stop location -- on CYTown Lane -- will be permanent. Plans to construct a new facility in that spot are in the works. Lots D3-5, C3 and B3 will be available for commuters on Aug. 7, and two more lots, C4 and C5, will open on Friday, Aug. 18. Updated parking map.

A full structure nowadays.........These students are getting soft. Back when I did commuter, we had a street post with a 1' by 2' sign as our protection. We herded up like cattle. Didn't even plow the lots at times, we had to push each other out of A4/5 at the time.

I thought structure meant the CyRide bus building - like the one there now, with a bathroom and maybe vending machine. More of a place to wait out of the weather, I guess.

That's how I take it.
I took a pic of that map on the standee thing in the commuter lot on Tuesday. That seemed important for us, since we use it once a week.

In other news, this ISU screening went ok or something like it. I don't think I'll be hearing back from them.

In different other news, our understaffed but never outclassed custodial team finished the middle school, so now we're moving on from really tough projects to touch-up ones.

The corgi racing would be pretty darn cute. @cowgirl836 are you participating in the excel championship?
