I will take Brooks instead.

Also, hotels need to be required to date stamp their photos online. I think the ones for this one are 10-15 years old.
I like my Brooks, too. Probably time to look for a new pair.

And if that's not where you are and they're weird about it, too bad for them.

Love my family but the ones that leave others' personal lives alone are the best to be around.
No one bothered me except one cousin that always gives me **** about not having a girlfriend. Of course he was married at 21 and had both his kids by 24.

Wedding was meh. Barn wedding, ceremony was outside, but by the road so cars and loud motorcycles kind of killed the vibe.

Food was catered by a bbq place, smoked brisket, pulled pork, and shredded chicken sandwiches, beans, mac and cheese, and potato salad. Really good but not enough.

The dancing was in the bottom floor of the barn but it's a small barn and there wasn't enough room, so most people were outside, where it was cool, but there was barely any seating.

DJ sucked too. Played all the typical pop songs from 2006-2010 you hear at every wedding. Not one slow song except for the first dance. My sister said that she won't have a DJ, and will just find some cheap speakers and create a 4 hour playlist.

We were all thinking $10,000 was too much for this place for what you got. That's just the rental fee, don't know if that included the alcohol.

I volunteered to stay at house with sick grandniece while others went to church. 90 minutes of peace and some quiet. Everyone is home now including five small cousin girls. Chaos. This is all very foreign turf for me.

$10k for just the barn? Or did that include the lousy DJ and the BBQ?

That's what I heard but I looked it up. $6,600 for Saturdays, $8,500 for the entire weekend, plus $1,200 to have staff take care of all the set up and take down, so if they did the entire weekend with staff help, that would be almost $10k.

Have no idea what the food cost.

Life is good when you finish for the day at 1130. Need to be to Austin by 2 for the niece's play

No, that is what those barn places charge. Just for the location. They soak people. You can rent the Surf (last place buddy holly played and can hold 2500) for about half that or less.

Do people do these? I think it sounds nasty.

We did an olive oil tasting in New Zealand. Going in, I thought the same thing as you, but it really wasn't like that. The oils are flavored, you dip pieces of bread in them. Some were really tasty, some were meh, and one was downright nasty (there were about 10 different oils).

The play is something rotten,at intermission, it is good.

Niece played Portia she was on stage quite a bit she said she had a minor part she was being modest.

I thought maybe you took shots of them. Wouldn’t have to take any Xlax for a week if it was done that way.

I'm Mary Poppins y'all!

Still rollin with the grand nephews/nieces? Or did you head back to the calm and peacefulness of the Cities?

Hangin' in Iowa for awhile. It may kill me.

Edit: It's all an intricate and well crafted conspiracy based on my low level of kid exposure and tolerance. Just got through cleaning the Levolor kitchen curtains to keep myself busy and untormented. Make lots of noise and act crazy and maybe Uncle Boxster will go try and find a distraction/escape. Off to prune the big winged euonymus outside.
