EDIT: My OCD is cropping up again. I noticed that the curl on the Os and the curl on the actual swiss roll are in opposite directions. Couldn't they have cut into the opposite end of the roll so they roll the same way?
Those don't hold a candle to Ho-Hos. LD snack cakes in any shape are always dry & compressed. Can't stand them.

Never. The Ho's may be "moister" but it does them a disservice, because the higher moisture content is derived through the use of nasty chemicals that make them moist but not as tasty. The Swiss Cake Rolls have a much better taste. Of course, they're both disasters so far as healthy eating goes.

I don't think you've ever tasted them. I've NEVER had any with cardboard consistency. Perhaps back in 1960 (when I was not yet alive and you were nearing 50) you consumed one that was carboardesque. But not in the modern era, my good Pongid!!!
I learned how to eat mac & cheese by watching my grandson use his fingers (despite what bos thinks).
