Maybe a Friday topic for @Angie What do you call your in-laws. I call mine by their first name as did my parents. My FIL calls them mom and dad and that bugs me a little.

Hey! I am going to be off the grid for the next week - any chance you could post that for me next Friday??

Also it is hay bale weekend on the highways. There were 2 small squares on 35 last night between 30 and 13th St., One on 20. Another on 35 up by hwy 3, then someone lost a big round on 35 S just a little ways south of MC I believe.

I'm guessing all the small squares were from various rodeo clubs that were in Ames this wkend. Evidently they didn't have them secured before they left.
Someone got the big round pushed over to the edge of the ditch, I would have liked to seen how they did that.

Ran 35 home last night and things were clear when we came through.

That lovely realization of having a third thing tacked on to your Monday out of the norm.

1) Overseas/early morning training from 12:30 - 1:45ish
2) New thing to learn from our most senior member of our team since she has a week's vacation going on every month between May & August, so I'm the back-up. (And I'm betting I get to take it over when she retires in Oct.)
3) My nornal Monday duty of running reports for Really Big Vendor
4) And the one I just realized...mandatory IT training needs to be completed tomorrow. About five sections. Yay.

I just got one of those emails about yearly training. I'm sure it will be about social engineering, phishing and a bunch more of the same stuff. Work even sends us phishing emails to test us through the year

Overseas training from 12:30-1:45. That's a pretty quick trip. You won't be able to catch many tourist sites.

Our cyber insurance carrier sends out fake phishing emails. I don't think anybody has been caught opening one yet.

OK, my neighbor has mowed his yard four times to my zero. Maybe my, "hey, your grass is 1/4" tall you may want to mow it again." quirk to him yesterday went to his head as he mowed it again!!
