Baby niece, who is now 30-somethng mom of three, survived running the Bix 7 today. Finished into the top 3% of the woman running and top 10% of everyone. Flashback to me visiting them in the Quads 30 years ago to run that race!
Edit: The old man still owns the family record for the Bix but I know if she wanted to she could beat it but she focuses more on marathons.

It's a LOT cooler today. It's at 79 now, but the early morning was nice and cool.
Watching Violent Night. If Beverly D'Angelo's name wasn't in the credits you would never know it was her.
Neither, really, for me. I resisted watching it because of the title, but I "discovered" David Harbour recently when binging Stranger Things with our granddaughter, so decided to give it a try. Don't know that I would watch it over & over, but it wasn't exactly what I expected (a complete slash-fest).
I enjoyed it but as I said, not what I expected. So different from what I thought it would be.
Watching the night air show. If you are bored for the next 30 minutes tune in at EAA.org/live. The fireworks/wall of fire at the end are incredible
Solid weekend at work. Knee held up pretty good though was tired at the end of the day. Not near as sore as last wk, so I'm pretty sure I'm gaining.
I haven't adjusted to being home yet after a week in the camper. I'm still trying to flush the toilet with my foot.
