I have my Tivo set to record ISU MBB game reruns on ESPN. Right now I'm half watching the B12 championship game vs KU in 2015 (Georges' junior year). Several things have hit me so far:

*Fran commented that post-graduation, Georges will be one of the most beloved Cyclones ever. Well, duh!
*Mason is doing well in the first half & Fran says Mason is a better PG than Monte. Two years later, he was drafted higher. One of them is still playing in the NBA...
*Jameel's Predator hair!!!
*Comeback Kids!!! (bad for Fred's heart)
*THAR Edozie. :D

Just a reminder for those thinking of going this Thursday is the big fly-in night at Mason City. Both B-29 Doc as well as C-47 That's All Brother will be there on display and giving rides until they leave for Oshkosh on Sunday. Unfortunately I ended up being double booked and am unable to make it.
We are leaving at 5 for the Smokey mountains. If you can have them there at that time I will detour from turning on I35 a mile west of the airport and swing three of us over. :)

Is there anything better than a late July meal including: Iowa Chops, homemade potato salad and fresh sweet corn? Answer: no.

Maybe if it's after bailing hay or detassling as a teenager all day when I had a metabolism but otherwise...no.

This woman at Casey’s had my interest. She looked attractive from a decent ways away first caught my attention. Then the pickup she was driving was worth a look, but what really had my interest was what was on the trailer that she kept checking the ratchet straps on. Not sure how far north she is planning to go but it’s not snowmobile season anywhere around me.

My neighbor growing up was a contractor and I can still hear him saying "yep that's not going anywhere"

They will be there well before then. At 5 the pattern will be hopping with general aviation arrivals etc.

In the 15 anny thread I mentioned that day I went into the ER. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment with my regular doctor.

Holy cow 7 mile run?? Shoot me now I'd never survive that. Congrats on you doing it though.
Can’t say I enjoy it. Doing some hiking out west next week and trying to gear up for it. That and at my last physical my doc told me my cholesterol was messed up and I needed more cardio.

Good on you for responding positively. I couldn't make it 7 but got 5 in last week for the first time in a while.

It pissed me off because I would consider myself out of shape and not overweight (anymore) but my cholesterol was still screwed up.

I'm really hoping it gets better. We're not riding - a son & DIL are, and we're driving the SAG wagon/bedroom for them. We were out and about geocaching this past week and my eyes are hurting & I'm wheezing a bit. I had to hit the inhaler a couple of times last week, and it's worse now. :(
I felt worse yesterday.Screened myself for COVID. Bingo. Hopefully be fit enough to maybe jump on @ Storm Lake. I do think air quality will be an issue for significant portion of the riders

Talked to son about it yesterday. His wife is adamant about not wearing a mask (because...reasons) and his comment was "well, if we have to miss a day, we have to miss a day". He said they've had issues with the wildfire smoke where they are "for months". He's in Delaware.
