Random Thoughts 15: Crystal Clear 2021 Edition

We were back last weekend for a get together on her side. She stayed back to help our families get ready for Christmas. Her niece was sick Tuesday? Eventually tested positive for influenza A. We didn’t want to expose my 2 year old nephew and my grandpa who has cancer. She is struggling with isolation feelings and I’m the one that always helps with that. We have been fighting a lot the last couple days. Might be back on the right track for now.

Also doesn’t help with Covid the last 2 years and all the cancelling of plans.
Smoke detector went cray cray a little before 6 this morning. Had to get out a ladder and remove it. It's a new AC/battery combo that is linked to the one high in the vaulted ceiling. This was just the 11 foot ceiling, not the 16 foot high one. Seems some condensation maybe "shorted" it out att he A/C mini plug. I hate these ******* things. I get why people disconnect them, not that I ever would but I get it.
Contemplating a solution. The high ceiling makes it a challenge with the regs changing and no A/C only units made now. The old ones I could flip a breaker downstairs to kill it temporarily.

Oh there's no place like home for the holidays...
Haven't seen many buds but I can't believe how late leaves fell and how intact they still are. Also burrs seem worse this year and plenty of greenery on forest floors.

Gotta be smarter than WxMan who nearly got to make a trip to the ER for stitches. Thankfully the injury is not nearly as bad as originally thought. Kids damn well better enjoy that basketball hoop game thing.
